We reached out to Chandler's Tree service to have some trimming/topping done of some trees. They were prompt to provide a bid (we're still haven't heard back from another company we reached out to) and once approved, had the job completed within a few days. The job was done well and the property owner is happy with how it looks. We have used Chandler's on some other properties as well and have been happy with their service.

We are so happy we chose Chandler's to trim our deciduous trees! We had a fair size mess with 5 trees that had grown all over each other and reached over the fence into the neighbor's yard. It was long past time to trim things up. The crew from Chandler's did a great job removing all of the dead and wild branches, giving the trees more sunlight, plus safely took out everything that breached the fence line without damaging anything or leaving any debris in the neighbor's yard. We really appreciated the way they kept us informed and asked our preference on various situations. When they left, so did every last piece of debris from the work that was done. Our trees are in so much better shape and we couldn't be happier with our choice of Chandler's Tree Service to do this work. Thank you Brian and crew!

This is the second time we have hired Chandler, Tree service, and, once again, we were not disappointed with their professionalism, friendliness, making sure we liked what they did, and their cleanup. You didn’t even know they were at our house. I would highly recommend Chandler Tree service as their price was very reasonable.

I chose Chandler’s to trim several large trees, remove one, and trim a large laurel hedge. They did a great job, and showed great care for the health of my trees—as well as their inhabitants. The crew was communicative and considerate throughout, making sure expectations were met. We ended up putting off the tree removal when it was found to have active bird nests. The cleanup was amazing—the yard was left in better condition than when they arrived, and is now much sunnier too!

Everett's Soil and Wind Conditions Put Trees Under Stress

How Pacific Northwest Growing Conditions Affect Tree Stability on Your Property

Glacial till soil is the technical starting point for understanding tree health in Everett. This dense ground drains poorly and limits how deep roots can anchor, which directly affects tree stability across the region. If you’re getting a Tree Service In Everett, that soil profile matters more than most people expect.

Pacific Northwest trees like Douglas fir and western red cedar grow large fast. In Everett’s compacted glacial soils, that size often outpaces the root system supporting it. Shallow roots combined with poor drainage create real conditions for tree root rot, even in trees that look fine from the outside.

Along the Everett waterfront and the Port of Everett area, consistent onshore wind adds another layer of stress. Canopies catch that wind load year after year, putting pressure on root systems that may already be compromised.

What Actually Happens When Chandler's Shows Up to Your Everett Property

A Clear, Step-by-Step Look at How We Handle Tree Work From Start to Finish

When Brian or one of the crew arrives, the first thing they do is walk the property with you. They look at access points, check what’s overhead, and flag anything that needs attention before equipment moves in. If you’re on a sloped lot, that is taken into account.

From there, the work follows a clear order. Tree removal happens first, then stump grinding or stump removal if that’s part of the plan. Canopy thinning and brush clearing come next. Hazardous tree removal gets handled with extra care around rigging and drop zones to keep structures and fencing protected.

Every person on the crew is a qualified employee. Not a subcontractor pulled in for the day. That consistency means the same trained hands handle your job from the first cut to the final pass. It’s the same for our other services.

Storm cleanup and debris removal are part of the process, not an afterthought. The job isn’t finished until your yard looks like a crew was never there.

Snohomish Arborist Services

Why Experience and Fair Pricing From a Family-Owned Crew Makes a Real Difference

Founded in 1988, this family-owned tree service has weathered decades of Pacific Northwest weather cycles, from windstorms off Puget Sound to wet winters that saturate already heavy soils. That history means the crew recognizes patterns most newer companies are still learning.

In neighborhoods where properties carry large established trees planted generations ago, that kind of familiarity matters. Knowing how western red cedars and Douglas firs behave as they age on older lots isn’t something you pick up in a few seasons of work.

Being family-owned also shapes how the work gets priced. There’s no pressure to upsell you on services your trees don’t need. If a tree only needs trimming, that’s what gets recommended. Honest assessments and upfront pricing are just how this Snohomish County tree service operates.

If you’re not sure where to start, a free estimate is a straightforward way to get eyes on the situation without any commitment. An arborist consultation gives you a clear picture of what tree maintenance is actually needed and what can wait.

Most People Wait Too Long to Have Their Trees Looked At

What Proper Tree Care Looks Like Before Small Problems Become Bigger Ones

A tree that looks healthy from your yard can still have real problems developing inside it. Deadwood, early root rot, and structural weakness often don’t show on the surface until something gives way. By then, your options are fewer, and the work is bigger.

Take a walk through Forest Park, and you’ll notice what well-maintained mature trees actually look like – balanced canopy, no heavy dead limbs, no awkward lean. That’s not an accident. It’s the result of regular tree trimming and pruning over time, not emergency fixes after the fact.

If you’ve noticed a branch that seems heavier on one side, fungal growth near the base, or a slow lean that wasn’t there before, those are worth a closer look. Corrective pruning and structural pruning address those patterns early, before they become removal decisions.

Getting a Quote From Chandler's Is the Easiest First Step You Can Take

No Commitment Required. Just Straightforward Answers About Your Everett Property

Say a windstorm came through last night and now there’s a large cedar leaning toward your fence line. You’re not sure if it’s urgent or if it can wait. That’s exactly the kind of situation where a free estimate makes sense – just a conversation with someone who can actually look at it and tell you what’s going on.

If the tree poses an immediate risk, 24-hour emergency service is available. Storm damage doesn’t wait for business hours, and neither do we. For situations that are less urgent, like utility line clearance or service line clearance near your home, we can schedule a time that works for you.

Everett properties vary a lot. A sloped lot in a north Everett neighborhood reads very differently than a waterfront property dealing with wind exposure near the Port. Knowing the area helps us give you an honest assessment, not a one-size-fits-all answer.

There’s no pressure when you reach out. You get a straight answer about what your trees actually need, and you decide what happens next.
